Vlad Shuster – Endodontics
The primary design goal in this very small start-up practice was to get 3 roomy operatories, each with its own window, into a small 1010 sf space. Additionally, Dr. Shuster wanted to find a good balance between privacy and openness for the operatories. The key to our solution was to angle the operatories at 60 degrees and extend a built-in decorative translucent screen from the end of the dividing cabinets. When you enter the clinical space and walk down the hallway, as shown in the photo, you cannot see into the operatory itself until you are almost past it, even though there are 2 entries into each operatory.
